DESCRIPTION | The layout presents the finest models of the Hornby Dublo 3-rail system prior to production ending in 1963. The model railway is a double-track, continuous running layout plus yards with about 346' of track in operation. The railway is set in southern England in July of 1962 with most scenery and rolling stock appropriate to this era. Town, village and country social scenes and activities are also appropriate to this era. The layout includes 10 fully developed scenes through which trains travel including a Farm Scene, Branch Line Station, River Valley, County Town and Station, Channel Coast, Fishing Port, Beach and Cliffs, Mainline Yard, Coal Mine and Coal Village. Principal passenger train formations include: Cornish Riviera Express; Atlantic Coast Express; Bournemouth Belle; Flying Scotsman and Night Scotsman. Goods train formations include Coal, Fish, Breakdown and Oil Tanker trains. | |||||||||
