DESCRIP-
TION
One hundred feet of main line take a tour through Muskoka, Algoma, and Temiskaming. The railway was built to access Agaaming Lodge, and other fishing camps and vacation areas. In the process, significant mineral deposits were discovered which now form another source of revenue. The layout’s shape is a folded dog-bone around three walls; it can operate as point-to-point or continuous running. The railway is modelled on the memories of many train trips through northern Ontario, and west and provides a canvas for scenery painting, rock sculpture, and displaying the owner’s railway models. At the same time, the layout is being converted to Digital Command Control (DCC).
